About us

Limestone Coast Volunteer Service aims to support community engagement through volunteering. We are committed to raising the profile of volunteering, promoting volunteering opportunities and supporting the thousands of volunteers across the Limestone Coast. 2016 Census data reports 14, 748 (almost 15,000) undertook voluntary work through an organisation or group in the region. This is amazing!
The service is apart of a state and national network of volunteer centres who work in partnership with Local, State and Federal Government to deliver support to the volunteer sector.  Since the services establishment in 2003, it has been hosted by the Naracoorte and Lucindale council and operates as a result of funding from the Department of Social Services.
